Dirty Dancing

He was one of my favorite actors. What a handsome man. It was very strange today as the Lord told me early in the day that he would die today. I have this happen on occasions but today I was so busy with other things I did not stop and pray. I regret that.
I believe he was a wholesome man that loved his wife of 35 years. He did not live the lifestyle of the rich and famous but a family man. I pray that he was a born again man. I would like to meet him one day.

My regards to his family.......... He was so young.

  3. I was so saddened to hear of his death as well. He fought a long brave battle with his cancer...it's comforting to know that now he is at peace and pain free. I remember the first time I saw him, in The Outsiders, and then Dirty Dancing and Ghost..oooh be still my heart:-)xoxo

  4. I was not familiar with him when I heard about his death. But I did hear several folks mention his family life and I was glad to hear about that. That's quite a feat as a member of the acting world. We have prayed for his family.

  5. Denise,

I'm not much for actors or actresses, but I did love Patrick Swayze...one of few. I'm glad that he is no longer suffering and hope that he was born again. I would also like to meet him one day.

Loved the pool photos in the previous post. It looks soooo inviting.

    Wishing you a great evening.
    Blessings,
    Mary

  6. There was something about him that drew me too. I have enjoyed his work...although some of it was before God changed my heart about what I should watch. :)
I saw a interview several months ago with Barbara Walter....I prayed then that God would open his eyes. I do pray that one day I will see him there.
