I am home from the hospital and it is 10:30 a.m. I need to go to bed but wanted to give an update. More tests today and also two units of blood for the anemia. Echo cardiogram this afternoon will tell them what is going on with his heart. He has some valves leaking but the Cardiologist does not seem to be alarmed with that. He will be there another day and night.

I am headed to bed as I have the midnight shift again.

I am overwhelmed by all the emails and prayers of people I do not even know..........

Love you gals!

  1. Sleep well my friend... You are in my prayers.

  2. Thanks for the update sweetie, praying for your dear dad, and for you. I love you.

  3. Get some good sleep. I know most times you do nothing but sit at the hospital...but it can be so exhausting.
Let us know what they find out about your Dads condition.
I will keep praying. Love ya girl!

  4. Praying for you and your family, dear lady....

  5. Thanks for the update....you take care of yourself too and get rested.

  6. Lifting your dad up - you too.

Love to you and your family.

    Your sister in Christ.

  7. Denise,

You are heavy on my heart tonight, dear friend. Praying for you and your father.

    Love and hugs,

  8. Still praying.....knowing all in God's hands....

  9. Please try to get some rest...I'll continue to pray and sending big hugs your way!

  10. Denise
Look what happens when I dont check in on my sister, I'm so sorry honey, I started crying, I know that feeling and I feel like I know them so well from your blogs, and you know they are part of my family, my family through Jesus. I will pray right now, as soon as I get done typing that our God will close those leaks and all WILL be WELL, for it's in his name THERE IS POWER TO HEAL!!! you take care of your self too, I will pray for you and your family. There's a good book to read while your in the hospital it's title..BIBLE! great true sotries, sing, sing my sister, sing songs of praise, we people who work in the hospital of all faiths love to hear songs of praise, seriously! and so does your dad and our Father! I'm on a roll, need to go and pray!!
chills all over my body, loving it!!

  11. Be of good cheer, Denise. You know that verse. Hope your dad is doing better by now.
