In Loving Remembrance of My Dad

Paul Edward Walsh Sr.   December 10th 1917 - July 2nd 2010

Dad beheld the face of God around 4:30 am July 2nd. He was ushered in to the presence of God with some of his family standing by to bid him farewell.
Dad was my hero and always was.  I already miss him and I know that in the weeks and months there will be great times of sorrow for me. BUT I rejoice in the knowledge that he now walks on the streets where I long to walk.
Thank you for all the support and prayers........  I will blog later at the wonderful things that the Lord accomplished in the 4 days as we sat around his bed side.
I celebrate the life of my father.......

  22. Dear, dear friend......

I am so very sorrow to read these words of the loss of your wonderful father. He looks like such a faboulous person with spunk! Just know (and I know you do) that you will walk together again someday. For now he will be watching over you - but as a whole new and perfect body. Jesus is wonderful and holds your father now. Maybe our loved ones will be able to meet up........

God Bless You! I will write to you when I get back. Just wanted to touch base with you to let you know my heart goes out to you. I am typing through tears.......

    much love,
    Becky

  23. Hello Dear heart
I just hear news of this road you have begun to walk in your daddy's passing.
May comfort be found in this...

"That those who go one before us stand at GOD"S RIGHT HAND ever interceding for us both day and night"

    Think of it
    :)
Some of us just got a party going on up out there at Gods right hand with all those who have left us into His presence. I think sometimes about this when I miss then. It is just a veil away. On the other side of eternity. The one that is connected to us by those cords that can NOT be broken.
Your Dad is always with you in the woman you are today. He is a part of who you are.

  28. Girl I am so sorry to be finding out about this so late. I have been on the computer little or none....so far behind with reading posts.
I wish I could give you a great big hub and just sit with you. I know the loss is so great...but for the one who is doing the day to day care....sometimes I think it is greater in a different way.
I will be praying for you and yours...and especially your Mom as she try's to deal with this unbelievable loss.
I am so happy that your Dad will be waiting for you on the other side....how awesome that he is seeing the face of the One who loves him so.
Praying girl. You know awhile back you sent me a note with a sweet book. And although I have kept both...I have been using your note these past two weeks as a book mark. Don't know why I decided to do that....but I have been thanking God for what a blessing you were to me at that time.
    Love you girl!
