I thought on my ways, and turned my feet unto thy testimonies. I made haste, and delayed not to keep thy commandments.
Psalm 119:59-60
The King James Version
Listening to the voice of God does not always bring a smile.......... While we are still HE is able to search our hearts and find those things that we think we have hidden. Then comes the reproof and correction.
II Timothy 3:16 All scripture [is] given by inspiration of God, and [is] profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 3:17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. That was applied to my life today..... It hurt.
Love you, friend. Hope this time of reflection is going well for you.

It's those pains that make us remember the lesson. Remember , like we tell the kids after the repent...alright, It is finished.

as in each moment, day , hour is new with Him. So shall we let it be for our selves.

My prayers and thoughts are with you. I had one of those days on Mother's Day....Hugs to you..m.
ReplyDeleteSo very true....Listening to God doesn't always bring a smile! and yes, he does bring thing to surface, only because he wants us to change them and make them better. I think the bible as an instruction manual for life, and when we don't follow the directions, things are all messed up, and then we have to read the instruction manual again, and again, and again, but we really don't follow the intrusions to the "T", cause if we did, we wouldn't need the GOD, or his instruction manual, right? I SOOOOOOO love you and all that you bring to me everyday!
ReplyDeleteLOVE TO YOU
Annette
Praying girl!
ReplyDeleteI miss you and stopped by to give my love to you. I know this time at the feet of Jesus is creating change in your life as His pruning and impartation is taking place within you.
ReplyDeleteI often remind myself that His correction MEANS that I am DEEPLY loved by Him so much so that He won't permit me to hang out there dry to the bone and apart from HIM ever!
I love you sis.
You see my state, and still increase my pain
ReplyDeleteI see your face, the need for union regain.
For my welfare, you have no care, I complain
Why do you heal me not from the sickness I disdain?
You bring me down and leave me on the earthly plane;
Return me to my home, by your side let me remain.
(from an ancient poet)
Hope your heart is full of hope.
Dean
I understand. I think it may be called pruning. Ouch it does hurt but necessary.
